What is Carbon to Art?
Most climate action feels invisible. My work makes it tangible. Captured emissions are converted into biochar, used for sustainability impact, and refined into charcoal-based art materials. The finished artwork physically stores carbon and includes a Certificate of Impact tied to the piece.
How it works?
Every artwork you collect goes beyond and makes a tangible contribution to sustainability. By using biochar in my art, each purchase helps provide biochar compost to farmers. This improves soil health, restores degraded land, and increases crop productivity.

Impact

Each collector receives a Certificate of Impact, a meaningful reminder that your investment in art is also an investment in the planet.

Impact example: Your purchase of a limited edition artwork supports:
  • 1,000 kg of biochar compost delivered to the farms
  • Improved soil health on 0.5 acres of farmland
  • Increased crop productivity and resilience against droughts by ~15%

SUSTAINABILITY IMPACT PARTNERS

Picture
To make every artwork meaningful beyond the canvas,  PlantVillage+, a Penn State founded cooperative dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers with climate-smart agriculture. Through this partnership:
  • Biochar compost is delivered directly to farming communities, enriching soils and restoring degraded land.
  • Farmers gain resilience against droughts and climate stress, while boosting crop yields and food security.
  • Carbon is sequestered durably, turning agricultural waste into a resource that supports both the planet and people.
When you purchase my artwork, you’re not only collecting a unique piece of creativity — you’re joining this mission.
Art becomes regeneration — your collection becomes a living proof of climate action.
